Explain how specific choices an author makes in terms of conventions and stylistic features affect the reader’s understanding of the content of a text.

Today, we will review the Analyzing a Short Story Using Literary Theory handout and have a look at some models.

-annotating the text to find evidence
-make notes
-write thesis
-find evidence to support thesis
