Writing Lesson #3

Lecture 5 collaborative note-making.

  1. Add your name to the note.
  2. Add one point from your notes or from your annotations on the text.
  3. What you add can be keywords, phrases, paraphrases, or direct quotes.
  4. When the timer goes off, pass your note to the person behind you (or across from you).
  5. Now you add another point to the new note. It could be the same one you added to your note (as long as it is new information).
  6. When the timer goes off, repeat step 5 until your note has returned to you.
