You've Been Studying All Wrong. This Professor Can Help You 'Outsmart Your Brain' | Research

Getting ready to learn continued.

To be my best student, I need to outsmart my brain.

Why learning is hard and how you can make it easy.

This semester along with examining the overarching themes of reaching for your dreams, battling fear, and wrestling with the act of suffering, you discover how to study more efficiently and effectively, shrug away exam stress, and most of all, enjoy learning.

When we study, we tend to focus on the tasks we can most easily control—such as highlighting and rereading—but these practices only give the illusion of mastery. Together, we will learn about real-world practices and the latest research on how to train your brain for better learning.

First up…..Is it ok to listen to music while you work?
