As a culminating task for this course you will be creating a portfolio. This portfolio will contain a variety of written and media texts that you create as a way to explore your ideas and interpretations about a book that you choose to read.

From May 26th:

You’ve read the book. You’ve talked about the book. You’ve chosen a topic and you’ve conducted some research on that topic.

You are now ready to write about the book. Review the literary analysis rubric to guide your work.

These analyses do not include secondary sources, but if you check your rubric, you are not being assessed on that part. This assignment provides you with the opportunity to try your hand at incorporating evidence from secondary sources into your writing.
