Today, you will work on your definition essay: “What is love?”

Consider some THOUGHTS ON LOVE.

1. Review the rubric
2. Find your planning chart and draft thesis statement (Unit 2 Summative Assignment document).
3. Decide on what type of planning tool you will use (digital or not).
4. Get all of your writing and support tools ready
   1. Citation Expression sheet
   2. Introducing Quotes sheet
   3. Transitional words and phrases sheet
   4. Peer/Self-editing sheet
   5. Copies of all the texts we have read
   6. Model definition essay: “Respect” and the questions you answered about that essay.
   7. Definition Essay note.

The essay is due no later than midnight on Thursday. You must also submit: 

• Plan/Outline (graphic organizer, notes, essay outline)
• Draft—showing revisions
  • Google revisions
  • Word in downloaded version; use Review
  • Make revisions on hard copy
  • Use Grammarly
• Peer/Self-editing sheet for definition essay
