The strategies that you should use to answer the variety of questions in the OSSLT at your tables; create an OSSLT strategy poster.
- Title the poster
- Name the type of question and the strategy to use
e.g. Writing the Series of paragraphs expressing an opinion–>take a few minutes to plan the answer.
Remember, there can be more than one strategy per type of question on the test.

- What you like about the book.
- How it connects to The Alchemist, generally and/or to the over-arching questions:
What is more important: the journey or the destination?
What is my personal legend?
How does fear stop us from pursuing our dreams?

Conducting a reading rate.
Read for 10 minutes. Note how many pages you read in that time. Multiply that number by 2 to get the number of pages you read that book in 20 mins. Then divide that number into the total number of pages in the book. The result is how many days it will take you to finish.
The book must be finished by May 26 at the latest.
