Closing Arguments

Today, we begin wrapping up our work on Serial and investigating the media.

In the culminating task for this unit you will listen to the final episode of the podcast,Serial, and use a graphic organizer to analyze the way in which the features of the podcast affect the way you interpret the content. Then you will investigate the additional sources of information that have come out since the podcast has been aired. You will form your own opinion about the subject’s guilt or innocence while explaining how the different types of information helped you form that opinion. You will synthesize this information by creating your own media text that communicates your opinion.
